Marissa Bronfman is a serial entrepreneur, writer, speaker, mentor, business advisor, coach and consultant to founders, impact investors, social impact organizations and academic institutions. She has created businesses and social initiatives across Canada and India. Marissa is the Founder and Executive Director of Future Ocean Foods, an alternative seafood association with more than 45 companies in 16 countries, across plant-based, fermentation and cultivated food and technology. Future Ocean Foods’ mission, headquartered in Nova Scotia, Canada, is to support and accelerate the alternative seafood industry worldwide, to promote food security, human health, environmental sustainability and ocean conservation. She has participated in expert panels, events and created impact initiatives with UN Women, Vegan Women Summit, the Black North Initiative, McGill University, Dress For Success, Plant Forward, Startup Canada, and many others.
